His review of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for IGN does not disclose an involvement in the game’s "review camp". While disclosure was never added, the participation the participation appears to have been very limited, with most of the review taking place with a review copy—possibly making this a minor issue. These very criticized review events involved a heavily-controlled play environement with a company PR handler, costraints that pushed some journalists to cheat to go through the game faster and, at least in some of the camps, lavish accomodations and gifts.
